In this project we were tasked to design illustrated products in a hypothetical collaboration with the German based soft drink Club Mate. Mate itself is a Herb based drink that is very common in Argentina and is packed with alot of energy. Club Mate soft drink is a carbonated version of it and in parallel is a very common drink in germany that is usually associated with german techno clubs, and hacker spaces.
Since we had full liberty over the theme I chose a classical rock and roll theme focused on the energetic, loud and dynamic atmosphere of rock concerts. Visual research meant i had to look through many pictures of classic rock musicians but in the end i decided on the following musicians:
ACDC’s Axel Young
Black Sabbath’s Ozzy Osborne
Kiss’s Gene Simmons
Gun’s & Rose’s Slash
The product itself compromised of:
-an A6 postcard of the artists themeselves with rock elements surrounding them.
-Coasters with both Ozzy & Gene Simmon’s resembling Club Mate’s famous character in their logo “El Gaucho”.
-Glass cups with both Ozzy & Gene Simmons again resembling “El Gaucho”

In our Serigraphy class we were given the task to design 4 Christmas post cards. Since we were limited to using 2 colors, it pushed us to find creative solutions to convey a sense of volume, contrast, and using shapes in negative and positive space.
Looking back at my origins, I wanted to convey Christmas with a personal and nostalgic theme.
1- A scene of a Lebanese village with snow covered pine trees and traditional lebanese houses with the arabic version of Merry Christmas- ميلاد مجيد.
2- Snow covered pine trees (Mediterranean Stone Pine) with the star of Bethlehem in the center.
3- Lebanese windows
4- Lebanese tiles with an arabesque design that have both western and eastern elements (which convey the country’s shared influences)
These Postcards were later exhibited in an exhibition space in Barcelona’s Barrio Gotico

In character design class we were given the opportunity to pick or create any character. Sine I have a profound love for the American 90’s series Seinfeld I decided to design George Costanza.
George was a very favorable choice since he has a very neurotic, self-loathing, and insecure character.

In Transmedia Communication class we were given the opportunity to design a marketing strategy for an event in Barcelona’s famous Fabra i Coats factory.
Fabra i Coats is a former textile factory in Barcelona’s Sant Andreu neighborhood that has been transformed into a vibrant art and creation hub.
Given the factory’s historic and cultural significance, the event and theme we were constructing had to had to be relevant in a both a visual and practical manner.
Given my love for movies and producing homages to great actors and artist my theme was focused on Cinema.
The 2 products we designed were the following:
poster: I chose the Venice Biennale Lion roaring on top of the factory’s iconic chimney.
Animated ads: 1st Drawing is a homage to Stanley Kubrick, his love for photography and his timeless classic 2001: A Space Odyssey.
2nd Drawing is a homage to Bill Murray’s Character Steve Zissou in the Wes Anderson film “The Life Aquatic Steve Zissou”

Recetas Del Levante or “Recipe’s of the Levant” was my Master’s Thesis project.
While researching for an idea i quickly drew inspiration from my own cooking event workshops in 2024 where I would teach my clients how to prepare food from the Levant. Knowing i’m a nostalgic and sentimental person I evolved that idea to pay homage to the members of my community in Lebanon and the food they have been preparing for decades.
The figures represented and their respective dishes are:
Krikor’s Bakery- Beid bi Awerma
Al-Soosi restaurant- Ful
Ishkhanian Bakery- Lahmajun
Musta Shawerma- Meat Shawerma
Hanna Metri- Booza Lebneni (Lebanese Icecream)
in our Self-publishing and independent publications class we were given the liberty to collectively choose a theme for a Zine we would design and print.
Given the random nature of voting our theme would end up being “Potato”, and our zine was to be called Patatzine. Each student designed illustrated potatoes in their own personal creative choices and themes.
My contribution was a personification of the terms “Hot Potato” & “Sweet Potato”.
Patatazine was present at Barcelona’s 2025 Graf Comic Festival where it sold many prints.

in our Graphic Editing class we were give the task to design an illustrated cover for the Catalan digital culture magazine Nuvol.
Drawing inspiration from the traditional Catalan Christmas cake Tortell de Reis and the traditions associated with it (a miniature version of one of the 3 kings hidden within the cake), I decided to portray the 3 kings/Magi looking for the star of Bethlehem on top of what looks like the Torell de Reis cake.
